SharedFrame (“we”, “us”) provides guest photo galleries for events in the Philippines. Photographers create an event with us; their guests find the photos they appear in. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it. It applies to this website and to the SharedFrame service used at events.
The framework we follow
We handle personal information in line with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its implementing rules. If you have questions about your rights as a data subject, or want to exercise them, contact us at godfrey@sharedframe.ph — that address is our sole point of contact for privacy requests.
Photographer accounts
Creating a workspace requires an email address, handled by our authentication provider. We keep the events you create, their names and dates, the photos you upload, and a record of your payments. Payments are taken by PayMongo; we never see or store your card details.
We do not sell account information and we do not use it for advertising to third parties.
Event enquiries
If you fill in the enquiry form on our home page, we keep what you enter — your email, and optionally your name, mobile number, event type, date, location, guest count and preferred way of being contacted — so we can get back to you about your event.
That form also asks who your photographer is. If you tell us, we use it for one purpose: to contact that photographer about SharedFrame on your behalf. We will say that you asked us to. A photographer contacted this way can ask us to delete their details and to stop contacting them by emailing godfrey@sharedframe.ph, and we will do both.
Enquiries submitted through the older waitlist form on this site are held on the same terms and can be deleted on request.
Guest face-matching data
At an event, guests find the photos they appear in by taking a selfie after scanning a QR code. That selfie is never written to disk or to photo storage — no selfie image is stored, published, or kept after matching completes. Instead, the system derives a mathematical face embedding (a set of numbers describing facial geometry, not a picture) from the selfie and uses it to find matching photos from that event only.
That embedding is retained only until the guest’s gallery expires — the event date plus 60 days — so that guests can return to their matches during that window, and so photos the photographer uploads later still reach the right guest. Once the gallery expires, the embedding is destroyed. Embeddings derived from the event photos themselves are held for the same event and removed with it.
Where matching runs
Matching runs on our own servers, not on a third-party face-recognition service. Selfies are processed in memory and discarded; only the derived embedding, and only for the event the guest is attending, is kept for the retention window above.
Galleries and photo downloads
Once matched, each guest gets a personal gallery of the photos they appear in, with full-resolution downloads. Galleries stay open for 60 days after the event. After that the link stops serving the photos, so download anything you want to keep before then. Guests never pay and never create an account.
Other information we may collect
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure logs standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability purposes.
Retention summary
- Photographer account and event records: kept while the account exists.

Requesting access, correction, or deletion
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you — an account, an event gallery, or an event enquiry — at any time by emailing godfrey@sharedframe.ph. We will respond and act on verified requests as required by RA 10173.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
